You've got two options, you choose:

  • Sign-in and select - open Semble, sign-in (if you've set up a security code in settings) and tap the PAY button beside the card you wish to pay with.
  • Always On - set a default card to use every time to pay. To set it up for the first time, open the Semble app, choose the card, then select 'More actions' and move the slider to Always On.

More about where to Semble.

Semble has been used to pay in many far flung corners of the world – Australia, Singapore, England and Dubai to name a few! But it has been developed specifically for use in NZ. Not all payment systems are the same as ours so it may or may not work in other countries.

Feel free to give Semble a go when you’re travelling but make sure you have your plastic cards with you as well. Our support team are not able to help out with issues overseas.

Yes. Make sure you don’t have any plastic MasterCard or Visa cards, Auckland Transport HOP, Snapper, or building access cards near your phone when you are paying.
